Its time everyone understood these important facts....
Todays student is a victim of adult non-cooperation and misguidance. All the guidance these poor guys get is the outdated and incompetent advice of Tutions, tutions and TUTIONS.
Todays students have been reduced to lines in the text book and questions in the Exams. They are not encouraged by anyone they know to be practical, knowledgreable or usable.
Have we adults failed in our duty to build a healthy & intelligent youth ? ?

The DRDO challenge is effusively welcomed by the student community of India. Many students are exploring the possibilities or have jumped straight into the competition and are wading in the weird mystries of Flight principles, Model making, Aerodynamics, Control systems etc.,

POSTPONE the competition date to Feb 2009
VTU students from all Karnataka Engg colleges have Examinations during the DRDO Competition dates. Due to this, no one has applied for the competition.
Many students have written to me about this. They say that DRDO has not replied or acknowledged their request emails yet.
It would be better if the dates are put off by at least a month- probably Feb 2009.
This will also help other students too, all over India, to have some extra time to finish the complex project.
